Recycling Event in Mendon on June 28 for Area Residents
If you’ve been holding onto an old TV, keyboard with missing keys, or a broken microwave, now’s the perfect time to let them go. A regional recycling event in Mendon is happening Saturday, June 28 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Miscoe Hill School, 148 North Avenue.
Hosted in Mendon but open to residents of Blackstone, Mendon, Hopedale, and Upton, the event gives locals a chance to safely dispose of electronics and small appliances.
Important: This is a pay-to-recycle event. Fees apply for most items, especially TVs and monitors. Cash, Credit Card, & Checks made payable to “Green Team Junk Removal” will be accepted.
♻️ What You Can Recycle
This recycling event in Mendon accepts a wide range of items, whether working or not. Common items include:
- TVs (all types and sizes – fees vary)
- Computers, laptops, tablets
- Phones, routers, and cables
- Printers, monitors (LCD & CRT)
- DVD players, game consoles
- Microwaves, vacuums, coffee makers
- Small appliances and more
Fees are charged per item, with higher costs for larger or older electronics. Limit of two pieces of furniture per household, must be clean and reusable.
