FWHMS Sixth Graders Perform at Groton Hill Showcase

This weekend, Frederick W. Hartnett Middle School (FWHMS) sixth-grade musicians earned top honors and performed at the Gold Showcase at Groton Hill Music Center, showcasing the strength of the Blackstone-Millville Regional School District’s (BMRSD) music program.​

The Groton Hill Music Center is renowned for its commitment to music education and performance, providing students with opportunities to develop their talents in a supportive environment. Participation in events at this esteemed venue reflects the students’ dedication and the quality of instruction they receive.​

BMRSD’s commitment to music education is evident through its comprehensive programs that foster skills such as dedication, responsibility, and cooperation. These programs provide a nurturing environment for students to develop their musical talents and achieve excellence.​

This recent achievement adds to a series of accolades for BMRSD’s music department, including the gold and silver achievements at the Massachusetts Instrumental & Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) festival, which lead to being invited to participate at the Gold Showcase.
